Trip To Georgia

I can't believe it has already been a week since our trip to Georgia to see Jody and her family.

We took my mom and my sister did all the driving. I got to go with go Jody to pick PK up from the airport in Atlanta the first night his flight didn't come in until midnight their time. It was pretty cool. All the buildings were lit up it was really pretty. She showed me the torch that had been lit during the Olympics. I told her that was cool but I be more excited if she could show me where one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta lived. It is a reality show I've been watching.

Also on my first day there I held Aaron's snake his name is King Cal. Now let me say it wasn't as creepy as I thought it would be. But I was very nervous my hands were really shaking. Aaron said you know he can sense that you are nervous. What surprised me the most about the holding the snake (besides the fact that I held it.) was how smooth it was and soft and not cold. I expected it to feel all scaly and cold and it wasn't.

JUST AN UPDATE

Nothing exciting going on here, Still unemployed and trying to make goals for myself per my daughter. Today I had to update my unemployment information. I loved doing that man it took me forever. I plan on giving grandmother a perm later on today seems we have to work around price is right and a couple of her soaps :] Here a funny little ditty couple of weeks ago when Dennis was here he was doing some weed eating along Grandma's hill at the side of her yard. It also happen to be Gabe's weekend. We went outside to sit for a little while. Dennis came and sit with us. He had a big long scratch on his arm and it had been bleeding. I ask what happen? Seems he fell down the hill while weed eating. Held on to his weed eater though,it was running the whole time he was falling and still running when he landed. He said he laid there until he could figure how to get up. Then he was going to weed eat his way out. Guess What??? His weed eater pick that time to run out of GAS. So the moral of the story should be don't fall down the hill
unless your weed eater is full of gas. So after his story back he goes weed eating and Gabey yells Dennis try not to fall down the hill again.

Life Goes on

Hello to all of my fans :] Well it has been quite adventure this week. My favorite son-in-law had a birthday. He and Crystal also celebrated their 10 year anniversay. I kept the kids while they went out to eat. Brandon drop the kids off while Crystal was getting ready I ask him had they chose where they w ere going to eat He said O'Charley's Gabey said he is in the living room. He thought he was talking about Charles cracked me up. Now Gabey says he is not going to preschool that he is to shy but mommy says oh yes he is that will be very interesting day for all concerned and I really mean for the poor pre-school teacher. I hope he does fine becausr I think he will really enjoy it.
Now some personal news I got completely laid off from my job of seventeen years. I didn't take it very well but I didn't cuss anyone I just cried and slamed the door so hard I scared a twitt that has her office by me. So I have to go out today and get the rest of my personal stuff. Yea''''' I am getting ready to call my sweet loving daughter and see if she will go with me. So Life goes on'''' maybe I could just stay off working for a while we shall see. Hello everyone well it is saturday and it is Darian's weekend. We aren't up to much so as usual I am on the the computer. I was reading Jody's blog and thought I would see if Crystal had any updates. Surprise good girl she puts me to shame. Imagine my surprise to learn she is going back to school:] i AM VERY HAPPY AND PROUD OF MY LITTLE BABY GIRL. It is just to bad I had to read it on her BLOG;] I wish her much success and good luck. I am also very proud of Brandon because what he is going through is very hard time having to change your way of eating is TOUGH trust me I know. I am proud of him for not smoking. Update I just received some information that Brandon may have slip and smoked. I soooooo can relate to that. I too had quit smoking. Then those--------- at work cut me down to 2 and half days a week guess who fell off the smoke wagon? So now I have to try and climb back on. I sure could use prayer for me and Charles He is having a rough time right now with his illness. I really need to get back into church so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I also have enjoyed all the pictures and updates on everyones blog. Love Mary

ME: go tell grandpa to get it for you he is in the kitchen
AMAYA: No I don't want him groping at me.
ME: I said do you mean griping at you.
AMAYA: Yes that is what I said I don't want grandpa groping at me.
ME: Laughing Me neither I don't want him groping at me.

Update for my girls

Well I had a good weekend with Gabe he is quite entertaining. We played Mario games and a game he calls wrestling. On the wrestling game he was playing he was doing really good he looks at me and say I am going to whoop them out. I have no idea what that means but he was so proud. Last night I called Crystal and I talk to Gabe his mommy was being mean according to Gabe. He wanted me to come and give her a spanking now me being me said I sure will I'll come over and spank her. Crystal gets on the phone and tells me he has gone to the front door and is waiting my arrival for the big spanking. So I had to talk to him and tell him mommy said she was sorry and that there would be no need for me to come and spank her. So that satisfied him. He really is a funny little guy. When he is here he always says your mom this and that when talking about Grandma Stoneberger never directly calls her Grandma Stoneberger to me its your mom wants you or there's your mom. Grandma Stoneberger ask him what my name was he look at her like duh''' its Grandma. Uncle Dan and Earleen were here Sat. and he was scared of them. I told him that Dan was my brother and he thought about that and said I seen him before. He said you know that place my family went I said you mean church?yes that's it I saw him there I remember the moustache and points his finger under his nose. Life in Mary Land

Well it was another day here in Mary Land. I have been sick for several days not feeling a whole lot better. Amaya spent the weekend with me. Poor kid couldn't have much fun with me but she didn't want to go home. One thing I muster up energy for was a little craft we made a guitar out of Kleenix box toilet paper rolls and rubber bands. Needless to say I was quite entertained. We then had to think and perform a song on the guitar. So this morning she wanted me to play again but let me know rather quickly not sing this time. I guess she didn't like the song I made up the night before. She is quite the little entertainer. When it was her turn It was standing in the middle of my bed watching herself jam. Pretty cute. One of these days I will get a camera and put some of my moments on here. Well Iam signing out from Mary Land byeeeeeee
